About Tetto AND PUBLITETTO
1) What is the difference between Tetto and Publitetto?
Tetto is specialized in housing credit administration. Publitetto is a publishing house owned by Tetto Habitação and works with communication in several forms. Both have in common being part of the same business group.
2) Does Tetto supply housing finance?
No. Tetto is a company that manages housing credits. The financing credit is supplied by the financial agent.
3) Are Borrowers Tetto clients?
No. Borrowers are clients of the financial agents with whom they have entered into contracts. In our case, the Tetto clients are the financial agents that have relayed the contracts to be managed by us.
4) Is Tetto active only in Rio de Janeiro?
What is the scope of the services? We are qualified to act in any State of Brazil when the issue is housing credit management. At present our activities are concentrated in the City of Rio de Janeiro, where our principal place of business is located, and in Duque de Caxias, location of our branch no. 1.
5) For how long has the company been in existence?
Tetto has been active in the housing credit market since November 2004, but the activities in the headquarters building of Avenida Marechal Floriano only started in June 2005. Previously the company was working in temporary headquarters on Avenida Rio Branco, in the Rio de Janeiro downtown area.
6) Where does the name Tetto come from?
It comes from association with house, home, housing, comfort. To have roof (´teto´) means to be in safety, sheltered from inclement weather, protected. The spelling is of Italian origin.
7) Does the Tetto logo have any specific meaning?
Yes, it does. We start from the simplest geometrical shapes, i.e., the square, the triangle and the circle, to show that with such shapes anything can be constructed. They are the first shapes learned by children and never forgotten throughout life.
8) What is the meaning of the panel on the wall of the store in the company headquarters?
The picture, made by artist Gina Dantas Bezerra, is formed by 30 heads representing the Brazilian people. For Tetto, it represents one of the company values, i.e., the respect for the differences, this is why in that picture we have representations of people black, white, blonde, yellow, baldhead, fat, slim, men, women and indians. The assembly means that all are welcome and that, in Tetto, the house of all is the house of each.
9) Is the phone call to 0800 702 8232 free of charge for any telephone?
The toll free service enabled by the 0800 line is valid for residential or telephone cabins (´orelhões´) in any part of Brazil and vetoed for mobile telephones (cell phones).
10) What are the working hours of the company?
Both the services and the teleservice operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The same hours are valid for the Duque de Caxias branch.
11) What does it mean to manage housing credit contracts?
It means making collections, solving borrowers´ problems, tending to the writing down of liquidated contract mortgages, liquidating active contracts, remedying active contracts for purposes of novation under Law 10150/00 and subsequent qualification under the FCVS, as well as qualifying inactive contracts (not qualified) before the FCVS.
12) How can I purchase the magazine Meu Tetto?
The magazine is intended for the borrowers of portfolios managed by Tetto Habitação. If this is your case, you will receive it at the address appearing in our records. In the event that the address is not up to date, the borrowers may do so through the 0800 702 8232.
